An awards category for those that make their mark creatively in the arts world. Film, Television, theatre, literature and then light up the world for others in doing so.

Winners: Ebonie Reid-Barlow
An important award category and one which will be awarded not necessarily to an individual but perhaps to a class of young people who have excelled together and brightened up their local community in doing so.

Winners: Sir Michael Caine
This award is a special award that will honour a proud son or daughter of London who has made his or her mark on the World and brought pride to the city of London through their achievements.
Positive Role Model
Of The Year

Winner: Danielle Banjo
Danielle happens to be Ashley's mum - but more importantly, it was Danielle who set up Diversity and now manages the dance troupe. Danielle manages the group made up of her boys, Ashley, 20, and Jordan, 16, plus nine of their talented and energetic pals from across Essex. Danielle, a former professional dancer herself, has been married to Ashley's dad Funso, an ex-heavyweight boxer, for 20 years.
Formed in 2007, in memory of a dear friend, the dance troupe consists of eleven members from East London and the Essex area. Ranging in age from 13-26, Diversity are really one big family. They are made up of three sets of brothers: Ashley and Jordan Banjo, Ian, Jamie and Matthew McNaughton, Sam and Mitchell Craske. They are complemented by four of their best friends: Terry Smith, Ike Ezekwugo, Warren Russell and Perri Luc Kiely.
Special Recognition

Winners: Daniel De Gale
The award was given posthumously to Daniel for courageous campaigning work to find cure for leukaemia before his death from the disease. Mum Beverly received award on the night and on thanking everyone said "he would have been very proud".
